Greg Worthen
Greg Worthen is the Baking and Pastry Arts Program Coordinator at New Hampshire Culinary Institute at White Mountains Community College. He completed his formal Pastry Arts training at the Culinary Institute of America. Greg currently is a Certified Working Pastry Chef through the American Culinary Federation as well as a dual role ServSafe instructor and proctor. Before beginning work with NHCI Greg taught as an adjunct instructor at Southern New Hampshire University. Greg spent ten years as an Executive Pastry Chef at the Everglades Club in Palm Beach Florida and nearly an additional ten years working and developing his skills and passion for the Baking and Pastry Arts in private clubs and hotels scattered across the US. After returning to New Hampshire Greg and his wife, LauraLee, opened a successful wedding cake and confectionary business. However, when the opportunity to teach his passion arose they made the difficult decision to close the business so that Greg could pursue his love to educate about the subject he loves. Greg also enjoys backpacking in the White Mountains and time spent with his family in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. You can reach Greg at [email protected]
